The elegant wave pattern is created by forging two different hardness steels over and over again, and the high uniformity of the VG-10 steel core ultimately results in maximum sharpness. The blade has been treated with a black oxide treatment, a technology often used in medical equipment. This gives the blade outstanding corrosion resistance and a beautiful visual effect. The chestnut wood handle has excellent durability, and the fire treatment applied to the surface makes it even stronger.
