Why learn how to cook?

Encouraging children from an early age to help in the kitchen promotes confidence, empowers them to prepare their own meals later on, and provides them with skills that direct them to practice healthy eating.

Usually, children are at home when their parents are in the kitchen, why not teach them how to cook, creating moments of intimacy and family sharing? Kids will love it!

Suitable for children over the age of 7 years.
From this age, having the correct stimuli and guided by an adult, children are physically able to handle a knife, as well morally and cognitively.

Basic rules:

1 - Never leave a child without adult supervision when handling knives;
2 - Always use a cutting board;
3 - Always handle the knife correctly, and grab the food with the other hand (fingers must handle the food as if they are claws and away from the blade);
4 - The knife must be left on the top of the cutting board when not in use.
